WO-STOCK 2011

Night Two of Wo-Stock 2011

Hey Guys!

Night two ran even more smoothly than night one! We couldn’t've asked for a better run Wo-Stock. Thanks to all involved; whether a band member, volunteer, or just attendee.  We couldn’t've done it without all of you!  We truly appreciate all involvement! We hope everyone enjoyed their time and will be involved again next year! Thanks again!

Wo-Stock 2011 Night One

Hi Everbody!

I am gonna keep this short and sweet seeing as it is 3am and we have another long night ahead of us tomorrow night.   Night one of Wo-Stock 2011 ran smoothly! Everyone was extremely impresseed with all the bands who played tonight!  Thanks to all the band who came out and supported our cause! We hope that you enjoyed your time at this event, both when playing and when just hanging out.  Also, thanks to all the volunteers who helped make tonight run smoothly!

March 16th!

Well as most of you already know, Wo-Stock is in 2 days! Volunteers are working like crazy to make sure everything is ready for Friday! Today, CTEE members are picking up drinks generously donated to us by Dr. Pepper.  Thursday, many volunteers will be staying late into the night working to set-up for the big event! Set-up will continue Friday morning all the way up until Wo-Stock starts! Volunteers are excited to make this year a success! We look forward to seeing all of you there!

March 15th Band News

ALRIGHT!!! We are right around the corner from this years Music Festival! This quick note, which will also be emailed, is to notify all bands to arrive 1 hour before there set times. The directions to the facility are located on our Band Directions page. All bands will be given back stage passes for each member and 2 extra passes for members of their merchandise team/crew. All others must buy tickets; the event is entirely for charity so there is no profit to the organization that is used for anything, but shipping computers to Africa. Each band will be given a lanyard with their group name, set time, and stage loading time so that they will know when to be where; my contact information as well as another (yet to be determined) will be on the back of your lanyards if you find yourself in need of some quick information. All bands will be using the facilities back entrances in order to enter. At this entrance you will be loading into the door that leads to your scheduled stage. All of your equipment will be dropped off and once you sign in you are free to setup a merchandise table and to wander, pass out flyers, etc.all for your upcoming set. Bands will be given food passes for each member and will be supplied water. This is our 9th year running and we have seemed to iron out most of the kinks. Once you arrive things will run smoothly and the show will run as planned. We are very excited to have you all playing the event and cannot wait to see you all. Again, feel free to call me with any questions or email. I will respond as quickly as possible. As you can imagine I am very busy at the moment, but I will do my best to stay on top of things.

Today, the schedule was sent out to bands. It will be posted on wostock.com shortly. I have been receiving many band images today, and I have begun to make promotional posters. The goal is to get these posters hung by this weekend! Keep checking wostock.com for updates on what is happening in the planning of WoStock ’11!
